Driver Pay & Benefits

Solo Driver with at least 2 Years Experience

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Class A CDL
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • 2 years verifiable tractor/trailer experience in previous 5 years
  • No DUI/DWI or any other alcohol related convictions in the last 5 years
  • No D.O.T. recordable/preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • Must be able to pass a D.O.T., Functional Capacity Exam, and drug screen

Pay & Benefits:

  • Regional Drivers Guaranteed Minimum Pay $1,000/week 
  • Regional Drivers 2015 Salary Average: $63,841
  • Regional Drivers average 2,500-3,000 miles per week
  • Regional Drivers are Home Most Weekends

 

  • Local Drivers Guaranteed Minimum Pay $800/week 
  • Local Drivers 2015 Salary Average: $49,401
  • Local Drivers Average 1,500+ miles per week
  • Local Drivers are Home Daily

Team Drivers with at least 2 Years Experience

Team Driver Pay & Benefits

  • Team Drivers START at $.48/mile, plus $.03/mile safety bonus
  • Keller Teams Average 5,000+ miles Weekly
  • Home Most Weekends

Drivers with 12-23 Months Experience

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Class A CDL

    • 91- 180 days with Keller – $900/week
    • 180+ days with Keller $1,000/week

    • 1-90 days with Keller – $600/week
    • 91 – 180 days with Keller – $700/week

Safety Bonus Programs

Keller Trucking believes in rewarding safe and efficient driving.  When you do your part to help keep the roads safe and the earth a little greener, we want to say thanks.  How do we accomplish this?  By putting money in your pocket with our bonus programs, described below. Safety Bonus – A lot of companies say they care about safety…but we put our money where our mouth is.  At Keller Trucking, our passion for driver safety runs deep.  In fact, we reward drivers who uphold Keller’s standard of excellence in safety with weekly bonuses and other safety related monetary rewards.

Orientation Info

What to Bring to Orientation? For your two and a half day orientation (5 days if you have less than 2 years experience) you will need the items below.  Keller provides transportation to, from, and during orientation. Hotel accommodations are also provided. Upon successful completion of orientation, drivers will be paid $13/hr orientation pay. Please bring the following items:

  • Driver’s License
  • Voided Check for direct deposit
  • Dates of Birth & Social Security Numbers for dependents being added to insurance
  • Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
  • Previous 7 days’ hours for the 7 days prior to orientation
  • CB and/or Power Invertor (both will be installed by our maintenance staff)
  • Bedding and truck supplies
  • Last 10 years employment history
