Columbus, OH: On Monday, September 19 the Ohio Trucking Association named its 2021 Fleet Safety Award Winners.
The small fleet award winner was Garner Trucking, Inc. based in Findlay, Ohio. Garner Trucking, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that was started in 1960 by Vernon E. Garner and Regina R. Garner. Today Garner focuses on transportation, warehousing, logistics management third-party services and equipment repair all operating under the umbrella of Garner Trucking, Inc. The large fleet award winner is FedEx Freight. They are the largest less-than-truckload freight carrier in the US, and operated LTL and other freight services in the US and Canada.
The following are class winners for the Fleet Safety Awards:
– Less than 1 Million Miles Class: Clopay Transportation Company
– 1-3 Million Miles Class: J.W. Didado Electric LLC
– 3-5 Million Miles Class: Garner Trucking, Inc.
– 5-10 Million Miles Class: Thomas E. Keller Trucking
– 10-20 Million Miles Class: ABF Freight
– Over 20 Million Miles Class: FedEx Freight
