THOMAS E. KELLER TRUCKING NAMED AMONG BEST FLEETS TO DRIVE FOR

Top 20 for-hire trucking companies in the US and Canada recognized

Defiance, OH: For the third consecutive year, Thomas E. Keller Trucking has been awarded the distinction of one of the 2020 Best Fleets to Drive For. CarriersEdge and the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) annually recognize 20 companies across North America and Canada for providing exemplary work environments for their employees and professional drivers.

Carriers awarded this distinction are constantly raising the bar in the areas of offering superior work environments, creating innovative programs, and increasing driver satisfaction. Qualifying factors to be included in the Best Fleets to Drive For program include: nomination from a company driver or owner operator, the fleet must consist of 10 or more trucks, and evaluation via scoring matrix covering the following categories: total compensation, performance management, health benefits, and career advancement opportunities/professional development among other criteria. Input is also collected through driver surveys.

“Being named one of the Best Fleets to Drive for is truly an honor for our company, especially for our third year running. We are very familiar with many of the other companies on this list, and are proud to be amongst such an elite group of carriers. This recognition speaks to our high level of commitment to our people, especially our professional driving staff. Along with that, it shows what a great group of folks we have working for us that support these drivers day in and day out. Our core values of being Responsive, Resourceful, and Reliable People in Logistics is validated by being a repeat recipient of this award,” stated Keller Trucking President, Jonathan Wolfrum.

The TCA is proud to honor the award winners year after year. “Aside from being one of the most anticipated announcements in the industry, for these winners, the Best Fleets to Drive For program facilitates an image that radiates from the professional truck drivers to the leadership team at a carrier operation,” said TCA President John Lyboldt. In March, two overall winners in large and small fleet categories will be named during TCA’s annual convention in Kissimmee, Florida.
